Between 1998 and 2000, a lot of amphibole lawsuits were filed in Lone-Star State than in the other state, which truth failed to escape eyes of the state\'s legislators. to scale back and manage tens of thousands of amphibole cases, Lone-Star State lawmakers began adopting a series of reforms within the late Nineteen Nineties. In 1997, Lone-Star State enacted a law to curb the filing of amphibole claims by nonresidents. In 2003, the state assembly created a multidistrict proceedings procedure (MDL) that selected specific courts to handle factually similar cases.
But the foremost comprehensive reform of Lone-Star State amphibole proceedings came in 2005 once the state adopted further measures to manage and to scale back the amount of unfinished amphibole cases.
